Not only that but simplifying things with a three knob layout and a simple tone switch means its effortless to dial in just the right amount of fuzz. And this is all built to Electro-Harmonix's impeccable standards, so you'll get a stompbox that's going to see out countless numbers of gigs.

Tones for your taste

It's easy to understand the hype when you plug the Hot Tubes in, it gives your tone that crunchy, natural breakup that only vintage combos can normally achieve. With the tone stock bypassed, the pedal brings out a darker, fuzzier texture perfect for garage-y applications where a touch more gain is preferred. Engaging the tone stack cuts the low-end response slightly, adds brightness and generally tightens the sound. Personal preference is key here, different settings will work better with different pickup types, and other pedals. Get hands-on, experiment, and find out what works for you best.
