The ASAT Junior II takes the familiarity of the T-type guitar and re-imagines it as a stripped back tone machine. With its stop bar tailpiece and bridge, two P-90s and solid Mahogany body, the ASAT Junior sounds, unlike any T-type you’ve heard before.

Body and Neck

The body of the ASAT Junior is made from Mahogany and adds warmth to the tone of the guitar which balances well with the biting tone of the P-90s.

The ASAT Junior has a comfortable “Medium C” neck profile which is easy to play and has a 12” fingerboard radius. This radius is more modern than traditional T-type guitars making it comfortable to fret chords on and is far more suited to playing leads and bends than the more curved, vintage radius fingerboards.

Pickups and Hardware

Uniquely, the ASAT Junior features a TonePros bridge and stop bar tailpiece which gives the guitar solid tuning stability and great sustain, pairing well with the Mahogany body.

This guitar features a P-90 in the neck and the bridge with each pickup being designed specifically for each position. Whilst this guitar may only have two pickups and a volume and tone knob, there are plenty of sounds contained within this straightforward setup. Capable of warm jazzy clean tones in the neck to high gain punk in the bridge, the ASAT Junior can handle anything you throw at it
