Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. Delivery at this time is to UK mainland only, and we will only deliver to the card holders address for security reasons. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone or over the Internet. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping and Handling will vary depending on the total weight of items ordered. You can find the shipping cost of for a particular order on the checkout screen. Please note, the price shown on the checkout screen is subject to VAT. All items are dispatched on a next day delivery service and once shipped should reach you the next working day (UK Mainland only, Northern Ireland and some Highland addresses will be 48 hours). Orders will be dispatched providing the item(s) are in stock and payment has been processed. If the order contains one or more items, and not all items are in stock the order will not be shipped until all items are in stock. In this event however the customer will be contacted and part order shipment can be arranged. We will only deliver to the UK at this time and cannot deliver to any other address other then that of the card holder unless by prior arrangement. This is to help protect all parties in the event of a fraudulent attempt for a transaction.
Orders placed for in-stock items before 1pm will normally be delivered NEXT WORKING DAY. Delivery times are all subject to stocking, quality control and seasonal backlog. For precise delivery schedules we would encourage you to contact us.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
All items are listed with their VAT Inclusive price. The current rate of VAT is 20%
Credit Card Security
All orders placed with us will have their payments processed via Sagepay’s secure credit card processing system. This is in accordance with PCI DSS compliancy guidelines. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted and payment details stored by Sagepay for the transaction. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
All items are guarenteed under the manufacturer’s warranty. For warranty repairs the customer is responsible for returning the item to The Music Centre who will then liase with the manufacturer for repair or service the item on site.

Online/Mail Order Returns Policy
Products damaged on delivery must be reported to us as soon as possible. The customer is responsible for arrangement and payment of the return to The Music Centre. Upon receiving the item back at our store, once it has been inspected and confirmed faulty the cost of the return shipping will be refunded to the customers original purchase card details (providing the original details are still valid). Where items are returned that are not faulty or that have been damaged by the misuse of the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping back to themselves and The Music Centre reserves the right to charge an inspection fee in extreme cases. All items sold where defects have been bought to the attention of the customer before purchase cannot be returned as faulty. Any item that has been modified or altered in any way cannot be returned as faulty.
- In accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive 2014, most goods can be returned for any reason within 14 days for a refund, including standard delivery cost. Returned goods must be in their original condition and should have their original packaging. We recommend that when arranging delivery back to us that you make sure your goods are insured to their full value whilst in transit.
